Helping Millennials Make a Big Decision

Millennial at cafeTomorrow, the American Institute for Economic Research will release its first annual list of best cities for job-seeking college graduates ages 22-35. Our hope is that by sharing this ranking, Millennials will have more information with which to make the important decision of where to live.

Our researchers looked at 260 metro areas large and small, from the biggest metropolis to college towns surrounded by cornfields. We looked at migration data to see where young people with a college degree were heading, and noted the qualities these cities had in common. We determined that once these people decide to make a move, that there are eight factors that help shape their decisions.

Our Employment Destinations Index highlights what these factors are, and the 75 best performing cities in this ranking, among four different size categories. We look forward to sharing this information with you tomorrow.
